How to Bet Own & Race Your Dogs

Getting started

Is this real-money gambling?

No. Every coin, bet, and payout on The Dog Track is virtual currency in a free simulation. Nothing here is wagered for or redeemable as real money. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for the full legal language.

Why isn't there a Google button?

Google / Microsoft / Facebook login lives on Push Pull Survival, not on this game. On the live Dog Track, tap Continue with Push Pull and use the same Google account. Or sign into PPS with Google first, then open The Dog Track from that title screen — you land already signed in. A local localhost server has that bridge off unless SSO keys are in .env.

I lost my password / can't log in. What do I do?

Go to Sign In. If you're already signed in, you can change your password any time from the gear icon → Settings → Account → Change password. There is currently no automated "forgot password" email flow — if you're locked out entirely, use the contact option below.

How do I change my display name?

Gear icon → Settings → Account. Usernames themselves (used for login) cannot currently be changed self-serve.

Do my winnings persist if I don't create an account?

Playing without an account saves your balance to this device only (a "guest" session). Sign up for a free account to keep your bankroll across devices — see the banner at the top of the page.

Lineage

What is the Lineage tab?

The Dog Track started as a Delphi CGI kennel and tote in the early 2000s, then a Java/Tomcat site in 2003 (the Box 1–8 trap art still used today), and now this cinematic broadcast. Open More → Lineage in the app to see the three eras. Odds on the betting board use the old tote fractions (5-2, EVEN, 6-4). Dog cards show a Win–Place–Show–Fourth career line from the original dog page.

Betting & racing

What do Win / Place / Show / Exacta / Trifecta etc. mean?

These are standard parimutuel bet types borrowed from real greyhound and horse racing. Win = your dog finishes 1st. Place = 1st or 2nd. Show = 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. Exacta/Trifecta/Superfecta require picking the exact finishing order of 2/3/4 dogs. Quinella and Duet are the "any order" versions. Full definitions are shown in the Betting tab when you select each type.

Why did my bet not settle immediately?

Settlement happens automatically right after a race finishes. If you were disconnected mid-race, reconnecting automatically claims any winnings you're owed — you should never need to do anything manually.

Ads

Where do ads show?

Same pattern as a mobile puzzle game: an optional Watch ad for coins in the Shop, a skippable sponsor screen after a race when you tap Bet the next race, and a slim banner on Kennel, History, and Lineage. Ads never play during a live race or on the betting board. Remove Interstitial Ads in the Shop skips the between-race screen forever; watching for coins stays optional. This beta uses an in-game mock player until a game-friendly network is approved — coins are still virtual only.

Responsible play

This is a free simulation with no real-money wagering, but we still provide a daily spend limit and a self-exclusion ("cool-off") tool under gear icon → Settings → Responsible Play, because good habits matter regardless of stakes.

Account & privacy

See the Privacy Policy for what we collect and how to request account deletion. You can download a full copy of your account data any time from Settings → Account → Export my data.

Still stuck?

This is a closed-beta demo without a staffed support desk yet. If you've hit something this page doesn't cover, the fastest path is usually to check Privacy and Terms first — most account questions are answered there. A dedicated support inbox is tracked in our launch checklist.
