Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account data: username, display name, password hash (never the plaintext password), creation timestamp, and last-login time.
• Game data: simulated coin balance, bet history, race results, kennel and dog ownership records.
• Technical data: IP address (for rate-limiting and abuse prevention), basic request logs, user-agent string.
• Cookies: a session cookie used to keep you signed in, plus your consent choice. This beta's ad placements use an in-game mock player and do not load third-party advertising cookies. If a publisher network is later enabled, those tags load only after you choose Accept on the consent banner, and never on the betting board or during a live race.

2. What we DO NOT collect

• No real-money payment information (there is no payment system).
• No location beyond the country/region implied by your IP.
• No social network data unless you explicitly link an OAuth provider.

3. How we use it

To run the game, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell your data. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be used to understand usage patterns.

4. Sharing

We do not share personal data with third parties except as required to operate the service (e.g. our hosting and email providers) or to comply with applicable law.

5. Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. Contact the site operator and we will process the request within a reasonable time. Some aggregated game records (e.g. race history) may be retained in anonymised form.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed with scrypt before storage. Session cookies are httpOnly and (in production) Secure. No system is perfect; you use the service at your own risk.

7. Children

This service is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the site.
